Fine to Heathrow. Then, going through security scanning, waiting for a bag to be personally inspected, my computer disappeared. At Heathrow security, that’s quite an achievement. The supervisor came, the police were called, CCTV was being checked – was the computer stolen? Well, it couldn’t just have disappeared! Then, as I was mentally considering various options / situations for travelling without a computer, a security person appeared from another area with my MacBook Pro. The supervisor had no idea how this had happened and was going to look into this mystery.
After El Al, Heathrow is about as security conscious as it gets. Yes, more than the US, even.
Furious twitching was added to my already present furious travelling-twitching. Twitch twitch. Twitch!

… to Seat Very Acceptable. Two hours in the air on a light flight. The Iberia Hindu Vegetarian meal is crap, and what a vegetarian anticipated in the air 30 years ago – unimaginative. Asian Vegetarian meals are best on BA flying outward bound.
